Research, not advice

The Tertulia Index is research. It is not tax, legal, financial or investment advice, and it does not replace a qualified adviser who knows your circumstances. Check any figure with an adviser before acting on it.

How the figures are made

Tax figures come from the Tertulia Engine run on a set of modelled households. Figures for your own household are estimated from the modelled households nearest to it, and amounts above the model's range are shown at its limits. The figures assume Spanish tax residence for a full year and the rules in force for the tax year shown; they leave out taxes the Index does not model, such as transfer, inheritance and gift taxes. Town scores are built from public statistics with the method described on the Method page, and they are provisional.

No warranty

We work to get every number right, but the Index is provided as it is, without any warranty that it is complete, accurate or current. Tax rules and statistics change. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made, or losses suffered, on the basis of the Index.

What you send us

When you contribute ratings or numbers, or challenge a figure, you allow us to use what you send to check and improve the Index and to publish it in aggregate or anonymised form. We credit contributors as described on the Contribute page. Please don't send anything you aren't entitled to share.

Using the site

You are welcome to read, cite and link to the Index. Please don't overload the site or collect its data automatically; requests are rate-limited. Third-party content keeps its own licence: Wikipedia summaries are CC BY-SA 4.0, and the data sources are listed on the Method page.
